Acceptance of terms
Aceri is the product name offered under the AceriSys brand. AceriSys is a brand operated by P L Blais T.I. inc. The words "we", "our" and "us" refer to P L Blais T.I. inc., AceriSys and the Aceri product, depending on context. By using the mobile app, website, portal, APIs or any service related to Aceri, you accept these terms, applicable policies and notices displayed in the service.
Owning entity, brand and transactions
P L Blais T.I. inc. owns and operates the business activities related to Aceri. AceriSys is a brand of P L Blais T.I. inc. and Aceri is the software product provided to users. Subscriptions, payments, refunds, taxes, receipts, invoices and other commercial transactions related to Aceri are processed on behalf of P L Blais T.I. inc., even when some interfaces, communications or receipts use the AceriSys brand or the Aceri product name.
Service scope
These terms apply to the use of Aceri on the website, in the mobile app, in the account or administration portal, in transactional emails, in help, artificial intelligence, document, mapping, production, inventory, registry, notification and shortcut features, and in any connected feature tied to the same account.
Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information useful, available and current. However, data displayed in Aceri may depend on user input, service availability and product updates. You are responsible for verifying important information before making operational, administrative or financial decisions.
Use of content and service
The content, interfaces, text, images, code, visual elements, AceriSys and Aceri marks, and service elements belong to P L Blais T.I. inc., its suppliers or licensors. You may use Aceri for your internal operations, but you may not copy, resell, modify, redistribute or exploit the service for competitive purposes without authorization.
You agree not to interrupt the service, bypass security controls, access another person's data, or use Aceri to transmit malicious code, harmful files or illegal content.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for actions made through your account. When you grant access to another user or use an account connected to an organization, some data may be visible or administered by authorized people within that account.
Subscriptions, payments and taxes
Some access or features may require a subscription, payment or active plan. Prices, included features, service periods, applicable taxes and renewal terms may vary depending on the selected plan and the settings displayed at the time of the transaction. Payments are made for the benefit of P L Blais T.I. inc. and may be processed by third-party payment providers. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and obtaining the required authorization if you pay on behalf of an organization.
Documents and submitted content
Aceri lets you add documents, images, PDFs, notes, production data, map points and other information. You are responsible for the legality, reliability, relevance, accuracy and rights associated with the content you submit.
You must not submit content that you are not authorized to share, or content that is false, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive, illegal, infringing, malicious or otherwise inappropriate for the service.
By submitting content, you grant us the rights needed to host, process, display, back up and make that content available in Aceri to provide the requested service. Personal information is handled according to the privacy policy below.
Links, suppliers and third-party services
Aceri may use external suppliers, including Microsoft and Microsoft Azure for hosting, databases, application services, notifications or storage; OpenAI for some assistance, reading, summarization, analysis, transcription or extraction features; SmarterASP.NET for some hosting, domain, email, database or infrastructure services; and other technical providers such as payment, mapping, email, authentication, security, logging, backup, analytics or file upload services. These providers may process data as part of delivering the service and may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for content, practices or availability of third-party sites and services outside our control.
Artificial intelligence features
Some features may use OpenAI or other artificial intelligence services to help analyze documents, extract data, interpret text, answer help questions or support workflows. Before an AI feature is used, the interface should indicate that submitted content may be sent to an AI provider for processing. Automatically generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review important results before using them for operational, administrative, financial or legal decisions. Aceri does not replace a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
Aceri is provided to help organize and consult information related to sugar shack operations. It does not replace professional, legal, tax, accounting or technical advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, interruptions, user-input errors, data loss caused by improper use, or decisions made solely from information displayed in the service.
Changes
We may modify Aceri, its features or these terms to improve the service, meet legal obligations or reflect new practices. The version published on this page is the applicable version.
Information collected
Aceri collects information you provide directly in the app or website, such as account information, production data, action registry entries, maps, land points, documents, images, files, comments and communications sent to our team.
We may also collect technical data required to operate the service, such as device information, app usage, error logs, preferences, language, session settings and authentication-related information.
How information is used
We use information to provide Aceri, synchronize data between the app and API, display your information, manage access, store documents, improve the service, analyze performance, prevent fraud, protect system security, communicate with you and meet legal obligations.
Documents, files and future analysis
Documents added to Aceri may be stored and connected to your account or to specific data such as a production, production detail or map point. Future features may analyze certain documents to extract text, data or useful information. When those features are activated, they should be governed by appropriate validation, security and authorization rules.
Sharing information
We share information only when needed to provide the service, when you consent, when required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, to protect users, to maintain service security or to protect the rights and property of P L Blais T.I. inc., AceriSys, Aceri or their customers.
Storage and cloud suppliers
Aceri uses technical suppliers, including Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, SmarterASP.NET and other services needed for hosting, storage, security, backups, email delivery, payment processing, maps, notifications, logs and analytics. Data may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States or other regions where these suppliers operate, according to their infrastructure, redundancy mechanisms and service needs. We take reasonable measures to process data according to applicable laws in Québec and Canada.
Providers and subprocessors
Providers may include Microsoft Azure for hosting, databases, storage and application services; OpenAI for AI features; SmarterASP.NET for some hosting, domain, email, database or infrastructure services; payment providers for subscriptions and transactions; and mapping, authentication, email, security, logging and backup providers where needed. This list may change as the service evolves.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No transmission or storage method is perfect; you must also protect your credentials and limit access to authorized people.
Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, preserve backups and enforce agreements. Some deleted data may remain temporarily in backups or technical logs.
Access, correction and control
You can manage several pieces of information directly in the app. To request access to your information, a correction, an export, deletion of data or account closure when those actions are not available in Aceri, contact the Aceri team at support@acerisys.com. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, backups, fraud prevention, security needs or transaction records.
Cookies
The website and some services use essential cookies to store preferences, manage sessions, protect security and operate the service. If Aceri adds non-essential, advertising or analytics cookies that require consent, the website must request that consent before using them.
Organization accounts
If you use Aceri with an account managed by an organization or share access with other users, that organization or authorized users may access certain account data depending on granted permissions.
